The Joy of Mindfulness

Our lives are full of hurrying, and worrying, and commitments that pull the mind away from what is happening here and now. This affects our conversations, our relationships, even our capacity for compassion. In this talk, Dr. Kalia suggests some ways to slow down and experience each moment, to mindfully participate in life and live it the best way we can.

Alok Kalia, MD is a retired professor from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is a long-time member of the congregation at the Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church.
