As Unitarian Universalists, we are called to honor the inherent worth and dignity of all people. This means celebrating the whole selves of trans and non-binary people, and working to make sure they are protected by law and have access to medical care. Recently in Texas, hateful legislation has been introduced that violates the first principle of our faith. How do we make sense of it, and what can we do going forward?
