A River Runs Through Me

Live Service in the Church Sanctuary
We Unitarian Universalists covenant to support the interdependent web of existence. Sometimes we forget that we need the web even more than the web needs us. In this talk, Dr. Kalia uses our understanding of biochemistry, physiology, and microbiology to demonstrate how tendrils of the web reach inside us to nourish and sustain us every minute of our lives.  Alok Kalia, MD is a retired professor from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is a professional speaker and a long-time member of the Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church. Dr. Kalia’s greatest joy is to make complex medical concepts come alive for his audience!
