Water communion on Sunday September 8

The Water Ceremony has become an annual tradition here at BAUUC. Originally created for a UU Women’s Conference in the early 1980s, it is now a ritual event at most Unitarian Universalist churches. As we pour our water into a common vase and share some words about it, we are mixing not only our water but our stories and our lives, symbolizing our deeper connections to one another and to the Earth. Please plan to bring some water with you to church on Sunday September 8 from a source that has spiritual significance to you or your family. Our services will be for all-ages and will feature lively music from our Choir.
