“Our Whole Lives” is a Unitarian Universalist comprehensive 7-part sexuality education curriculum that helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, comprehensive sexuality education provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but also an experience that helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality. Regular classes will begin on March 18 from 9:15-10:30am. Enrollment in the program takes place after the Orientation and is strictly voluntary. Enrollment is free for BAUUC members. Non-members are asked to contribute toward the cost of training and materials. $35 is the suggested amount. All church families with Kindergarten and/or First grade children are invited to attend the Orientation. Childcare is available for siblings.
