Alexander Pisarev, Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Consul General of Russia in Houston will speak on the topic of Russia’s Foreign Policy as part of the eight-week Great Decisions U. S. foreign policy discussion program here at BAUUC. The talk will be on Tuesday February 20 starting at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Pisarev graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1978. In 1981 he completed the post-graduate course of the Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. He has a PhD in historical sciences. Pisarev has been a career diplomat since 1991 and has been posted in Washington, D.C., Wellington, New Zealand and Geneva.
