Adventures in World Cultures 2018

07/09/2018 - 07/12/2018

Adventures in World Cultures is BAUUC’s secular version of Vacation Bible School.  Every summer since 1992, our rising K-6thth grade children and their friends have gathered for a week of fun, activities, and learning about other cultures. Classrooms are transformed by decorators to reflect the various cultures, while teachers plan hands-on, fun-filled activities involving food, customs, heritage, and history. In the past we’ve experienced a Viking longboat, a Columbian “taxi,” the peaceful ambiance of a Greek island, and a safari in Botswana.New this Year! We will offer an afternoon program of singing and dancing related to the three cultures.  The children should bring a sack lunch.

Hours: July 9 to 12 from 9:00am-2:30pm

Cost: $50 per child; scholarships are available

Registration: April 1 – June 27, 2018; forms are now available at the Greeters’ Table
